His agent, Mark Priestman, informed him that his singlewent straight to number one in just two days. Chris was pleased. He didnt lookthrilled or excited. I didnt understand why he wasnt chuffed.Chris Riley lived in a luxurious mansion in a desolate place in the depths ofYorkshire. His mansion had quad floors each containing at least seven rooms. Thelong, lavish corridors were beautifully decorated with a light blue carpet andportraits of him posing. on that point was an indoor extensive liquified pool that had gold railings. On the fourth floor there was a small private cinema that had twenty comfortable seats with large drunkenness holders.The cinema had several small spotlights and the stairs were luminous green. Themansion had e precisething a person could ever want, including a huge disco, whichmust have been used for parties. There was a large stage with a bar next to it but there was no one inside it. I had looked around most of the provide and it was all empty.I eventually figured out which room was Chriss bedroom. It was very spaciouswith little inside it. Chris had a double sized bed with elementary furniture. To the left of the room was a large photograph that showed Chris with a women and ayoung girl, about four or five years old. They all looked very happy and free fromthe popularity he had back in England. It looked to me as if they were on holidaybecause they were on a seaside when the sun was setting to give a magnificenteffect on the photo.I looked round the corner and spotted Chris walking towards his room. He silentlysat down on the bed and stared at the photograph. He looked deeply into thewomans eye and wondered, Why did you leave me? Why? He questioned withrage. You separated me from my own daughter His eyes had turned red andtears were escaping from his eyes and landed onto his black silk shirt.Suddenly, it had all made sense to me why his mansion was so empty of life andhappiness. The Common Problem of Absenteeism in the Field of EducationAbsenteeism is a common problem encountered by teachers and others who work in the field of education. at that place are many reasons why near children fall into a pattern of repeated absence from school. In a number of cases, ordainful absence underside be traced to an alienation from schooling due to poor achievement, family circumstances or behavioral causes. In some cases, parents or children simply defy the requirement to participate. This res publica is one in which the need for partnership between school and family is greatest. While many schools provide successful alternative programs or absenteeism intervention strategies, there will be cases where, despite the best efforts of schools and parents, the children stay away. It is clear that any unauthorized absence is of concern because of the valuable educational time which is lost and because the absence of some children is associated with inappropriate behavior i n the community. Different types of absenteeism will be discussed during this essay but the main focus will be directed at truancy in which the causes and remedies will be evaluated. The different types of absenteeism is truancy, exclusion, school closure, school phobia or other absences due to illness or bad behavior (teachers displace pupils out of class due to poor behavior). Although children who are sent outside the class are not entirely absent from the school, this can be determine as absence as they are not participating in class. It seems that none of the various Education Acts defines truancy and nor is this lack supplied the case laws. Nor indeed deal the various researchers agreed a definition. Remedies that involve the parents seem to be extremely effective as the parent?s awareness can surely play a big part in combating the problem as usually a lot of parents are unaw are of their children?s school life. A good teacher ? pupil relationship is also important and can ensure better school attendance truancy is the first sign of trouble and the first indicator that a young person is giving up and losing his or her way. When pupils start skipping school than they are telling their parent?s, school officials and the community at large that they are in trouble and need help if they are to move forward in life.
